Every 10 years in America there is a process where EVERY person must be counted. While they do not ask for very specific information, they DO in fact require some details that are relevant to determining how resources will be allocated. Similarly, in relationships, many feel the need to “check certain boxes” to assess whether or not their time, energy, and resources are being adequately utilized.
