Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve undoubtedly seen the very popular Instagram live series created by super producers Timbaland and Swizz Beats, called Verzuz, that pairs two artists from the same genres and similar catalogs against one another. They have all been special and highly entertaining in their own way, and always lead to some heated debates with regards to “who won?”

It’s human nature to compare and contrast things, sometimes even across timelines. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in thinking that new = better, or getting caught in romanticized nostalgic memories of the past. The Tequila Tales decided that we’d host a VS Battle of our own to determine what things from the past should we bring back, and what things from this new age that we need to trash *Cough, cough* Trump, *cough, cough*… DAMN, it’s dusty in here. Someone needs to do something about this!
